Walk The Way of Love with Calvary Youth
Our first Youth Class will be held on Thursday September 24th from 7 – 8 pm. We will be guided by the seven principles of The Way of Love: Practices for Jesus-Centered Love, a model of Christian Formation written by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry. There will be four monthly lessons offered in the fall, and four in the spring, and will include Bible and Book of Common Prayer Study, film clips, guest speakers and discussion about our faith journeys. Since this program can lead to confirmation, anyone in the congregation who would like to revisit foundational stepping stones along the Episcopal journey is welcome to join the conversation. Please contact Mother Nan if you are interested!
Youth Group dates during October, November and December will be announced.
Mother Nan can be reached at nwoodworth@calvaryfletcher.org.
Most importantly, I would like to thank all the people who have helped to prepared the classrooms in the recent months! Volunteers are invited to help with the filming of the various lessons, in a variety of ways, so feel free to contact Mother Nan.
Our sexton John Bailey who painted the classrooms and helped in numerous facets of the preparation.

Thank you all for going the extra mile to keep the Christian Formation programs for Children and Youth going, so that when we gather again, we will not have skipped a beat! The love and passion with which you live out your discipleship at Calvary is inspiring and deeply appreciated.
