Outdoor Eucharist on October 4
On October 4, we will gather at 6:00pm to celebrate Holy Eucharist followed by "drive through" distribution of communion at 7:00pm. We will be celebrating the Feast of St. Francis, so families are welcome to bring their pets.
In keeping with the suggestions of the State of North Carolina and at the pastoral direction of our bishop, a groups of 50 or fewer clergy and parishioners will gather in the open area beyond the labyrinth to celebrate the Holy Eucharist. Only those who have pre-registered at the link below should attend. (It is not necessary to register for “drive through” communion.
If you have any issues with registering, please email Fr. J. at jclarkson@calvaryfletcher.org.
Attendees should plan to wear masks, maintain loving spaciousness within the areas marked for that purpose, and bring their own chairs and sun shade. Communion will be distributed to attendees using individual wafers and cups by clergy wearing gloves and masks. Calvary will provide disposable orders of service.
Parishioners who do not attend in person are encouraged to participate in the service via YouTube and then come to the church at 7:00 pm to receive communion elements. Clergy wearing masks and gloves will prepare individual portions of the elements for distribution in a "drive through" arrangement. The communion station will be beside the labyrinth.
