Scripture: Day One – the Ten Best Ways to Live (Exodus 20:1-17)

Theme: God loves me, I Love God, I love Others

Today’s Message: God gave us the Ten Best Ways to Live because God loves us, and wants us to live in right relationship with God and each other. That is why the big heart on the stage today says Love God, Love People, and God loves us. We are happiest when we love God and love our neighbors.

Mission Project: By bringing in cereal boxes for the Calvary Food Pantry, we are showing our love and compassion for families who need our help during difficult times. 

What’s in today’s Activity Bag?

  1. River rocks and acrylic paint

    1. paint the top of the rock a solid color with the foam brush. Let it dry.

    2. Paint a simple message, like “I love God, or God loves me, or I love others” with the small brush.

    3. Feel free to add designs as you wish around the border; let these words dry.

    4. Place it in a favorite spot in your home, or give it to someone you love!

  2. We have added some juggling scarves or bean bags to practice, as we did today!

    1. Remember to start with one, throwing it in an arc over your nose.

    2. Then add the second, throwing it up with your other hand.

    3. Practice with two scarves for a long time!

    4. Then add the third.

    5. Don’t worry, it takes time and practice!

    6. Start with scarves, then bean bags, then tennis balls!
