Scripture: Genesis 6-8 – Noah and the Ark

Theme:  Listen to God

Today’s Message: God is unhappy with how people are behaving. He calls on Noah to build an ark. Noah listens to God’s instructions and endures 40 days of rain on an ark full of animals. When the land is dry, God’s sends a promise of a rainbow.

What’s in today’s Activity Bag?

1.    Rain sticks:

a.     Decorate your tube with crayons, markers or stickers to use with the story song.
b.     Suggestion: Decorate the rain stick before starting video

2.     Craft sticks and animal stickers:

a.     Decorate sticks and stick an animal sticker on each stick. Will also use these with the
storytelling song.
b.     You may make this before starting the video

3.     Animal crackers for snack

4.     Flying dove: Instructions in packet.

5.     Coloring pages

6.     Balloons for animal sculptures and a balloon pump (there are many lessons on ballon animals on youtube to augment Betty’s fabulous lesson!)
