Week Five: August 9

Scripture: John 13:31-35

Theme: Love our Neighbors

Today’s Message: Today’s Bible storytelling theme is based on the New Commandment. This refers to something Jesus said at the Last Supper to his disciples: “Love one another with the love with which I have loved you.”

Did you know that when we love others, we are also loving God? We can show our love by praying for people, and by helping those in need, by sharing, and by being welcoming and accepting of all people and building each other up.

Can you think of some more ways to love our neighbors the way Jesus loves us?
