May 8, 2024

This Saturday (5/4) was another busy morning in the pantry as we served 127 Households comprising 437 individuals.  We welcomed 13 new Households having 30 members. We continue to show increases over last year. Through 18 weeks households served have increased 7% and individual counts within those households have increased 10% compared to 2023.

On behalf of the Executive Committee, we continue to thank our volunteers and our area churches, civic groups, local merchants, and families for all you do to feed our community by helping to reduce food insecurity.  We thank you and appreciate your food and monetary donations.

We especially want to recognize the multi-language volunteers who join us weekly to help with new and returning household members whose primary languages are Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Here’s a big “Thank You” to Dino, Mila, Tom, Bill, Geerte, Cyndy and Janet. You make our neighbors feel welcome and accepted.

 For The Executive Committee,

Fred Yopps
