Père Pierre Auguste to visit Calvary as Guest Preacher on September 24

Père Auguste is from St.Saveur Church in Les Cayes, Haiti. He is the partner priest in charge of Education Equals Hope (E=H) at Les Cayes School in Haiti. E=H is a nonprofit organization begun in 2009 to provide education for those living in desperate and difficult situations in five countries including Haiti. Calvary became involved with E=H through their Daughters of the King Chapter at Calvary. Joyce Pipkin, former DOK international liaison for Haiti, helped the DOK at Calvary become a prayer partner for the DOK Chapter at St. Saveur Church. Calvary Episcopal Church has sponsored two students each year at Les Cayes School at St. Saveur Church. The DOK at Calvary also provides funds for the VBS meals each year. Joyce is now the Site Coordinator for E=H for Les Cayes and Cavallion, Haiti.
