Hiking with Father Bill

Our next Caminamos con Dios Hike is September 29: Triple Falls/High Falls Trail, DuPont State Forest. Gather at 8:45 a.m. at the trail head near the DuPont State Forest visitor center. Our three mile liturgy/hike will begin at 9:00 at the trail head. We’ll hike to the covered bridge/top of High Falls for our readings and hike in silence to the bottom of High Falls and on to the middle of Triple Falls, then up to the picnic area overlooking Triple Falls where we’ll share our reflections on the readings and our hike, and celebrate the Liturgy of the Table, followed by lunch. We’ll complete our hike by finishing the loop trail back to the parking lot. Wear comfortable shoes/boots, and pack water and your lunch for after the Eucharist. A raincoat/poncho is always recommended. We should be back to the parking lot by 12:00 – 12:30 p.m.

If you can play an instrument as part of our opening music at the trail head (all other music will be a cappella) or, if you are willing, to join with a few other stronger voices to guide us in our a cappella singing, please let me know (you do not want me leading our music!).
